Kingdom ComePG-13 Language Directed by: Doug Mc Henry Written by: David Bottrell(play), Jessie Jones Starring: LL Cool J, Jada Pinkett Smith, Vivica A.Fox Anthony Anderson, Whoopi Goldberg The second African-American film for the year, this time around, a family gathers together when someone they love passes away. Kingdom Come tries to move the story along with lots of laughs, but doesn't really grab your attention, and you end up not really caring for any of the characters. It also doesn't leave a lasting impression on you after you leave the theater. Anthony Anderson and Cedric the Entertainer are the ones that bring most of the laughs to the movie, and the others are there just to move the story along, without much interests to the viewer. In closing-While this has mediocre laughs and is somewhat entertaining, it is still worth a viewing, but for this year isn't a great Afrcian-American film(I hope there are going to be better ones later on in the year!) -John Steffens
